Pickled!
I'm showing you this only partly to distract you from the fact that very little knitworthy is going on here at the moment, and largely because I am so relieved to have this off the needle finally. The Picovoli is a very quick, fun knit (a top that happens all in one go is not to be sneezed at I think) but this has been hanging around for months if you include yarn-arrival-time to completion, mostly due to the pesky distractions of schoolwork. I thought I'd finished last week, but when I tried it on realised it would look much better with another inch added to the bottom, since when it's been languishing reproachfully on my to-do pile.
Since I now have to wait about three weeks for it to dry, I'll leave you with a picture of the Picovoli taking a bath in the sunshine, and go back to my non-knitting.

Oooh...I can't wait to see it! I think you need a glass of Ribena around for the photo shoot....
Kudos to you for going back and taking the time to make sure it fits...you'll be more likely to wear it. I noticed that with mine also, once I was done with the pattern it seemed as though it needed to be longer. I didn't go back though!
Love the pickling photos! Did you just pin it out afterwards to dry? Having only blocked one thing ever in my life, the endless varations in blocking never ceases to amaze me.
