Hen's egg blue

I can't yet show you eggs laid by my own chickens as Jane can, but look at these:


They're Old Cotswold Legbar eggs, and they are the most beautiful shade of palest blue, right through to the insides of the shells.


They also make a decent scramble. Hope you all have happy Sundays.

the eggs are beautiful! are they blue tinged on the outside as well? they remind me of the lovely color of duck eggs.

Those were always my eggs of choice before we got the girls. They are beautiful and delicious.
